The airline’s announcement specifies that the inaugural flights between Ayodhya and Delhi are scheduled for December 30, coinciding with the inauguration of the Maharishi Valmiki International Airport Ayodhya Dham.

According to Ankur Garg, the Chief Commercial Officer of Air India Express, the expansion of flight services to Bengaluru and Kolkata is a strategic decision, positioning these cities as vital gateways to Ayodhya.

Garg emphasized that Bengaluru and Kolkata, as pivotal hubs in the airline’s network, will offer convenient one-stop itineraries for pilgrims traveling from South India and Eastern India to Ayodhya.
