In order to facilitate the convenient travel of the people of Bengaluru, alternative routes have been suggested. For the vehicles headed from the Outer Ring Road to the interior parts of the city through Mekhri Circle, an alternative route involving taking a right turn from below the flyover, a U-turn in the Kodigehalli junction and taking the up-ramp of the Hebbal Flyover through the Service Road has been suggested. Vehicles headed from KR Puram towards the city can take the IOC Mukunda Theatre Road and take the Lingarajapuram overbridge or head via the Tannery Road towards the city. Vehicles coming from the Hegde Nagar and Thanisandra can take the GKVK-Jakkur Road to head towards the city. Vehicles headed to Yelahanka from K.R Puram can head to BEL Circle from under the bridge, take a left and head to the Sadashivnagar Junction and further take a right to head towards the IISc campus. Vehicles headed to the airport can opt to travel from the Hennur-Bagalur Road.
