Bengaluru: PM Modi to inaugurate Boeing India Engineering and Technology Centre

    Modi will arrive in Bengaluru during the afternoon

    Inauguration will take place between 2:45 PM to 3:45 PM

    Traffic in certain parts will be affected between 8 AM and 6 PM

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Bengaluru on 19th January. He will inaugurate the brand new state-of-art Boeing India Engineering and Technology Centre in Devanahalli. The centre is located in close proximity to the Kempegowda International Airport. This would cause a change in the traffic routes in certain parts of the city between 8 AM and 6 PM. The Hennur Bagalur Main Road and roads headed towards the Kempegowda International Airport are prominent routes which will likely be affected. 

Modi has undertaken a 11-day vow in light of the Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha that has been scheduled on 22nd January. He is visiting many places frequented by Lord Ram and also giving a go ahead to many developmental projects. The visit to Bengaluru is also one such occasion. 

He will arrive in Bengaluru during the afternoon. He would first visit Kalaburagi in the morning and later Solapur before travelling towards Bengaluru. The inauguration will take place between 2:45 PM to 3:45 PM. After the inauguration, Modi will head to Chennai. 

The centre in Devanahalli would be the biggest investment for Boeing outside of the United States of America. Rs 1600 crore have been spent on the 43-acre property. The centre will promote the upliftment of women in the field of aviation.
