In a recent crackdown by Bengaluru Police, multiple factories engaged in the illicit production of branded detergents were raided. These facilities, previously involved in counterfeiting clothing detergents, were caught in the act of duplicating products from reputable brands like Rin, Surf Excel, and Wheel Co. Acting on crucial intelligence provided by Hindustan Uni Lever, Malleswaram police swiftly moved to dismantle the operation.

Workers at these illegal facilities were intercepted while in the process of disseminating large quantities of counterfeit detergent packs to retail outlets in the Malleswaram vicinity. Law enforcement authorities seized vehicles that were being used to transport these counterfeit products, further disrupting the illegal activities.

Following up on verified intelligence, another unlawful facility located in Madanayakanahalli became the target of enforcement action. During the raid, authorities confiscated detergents valued at Rs 20 lakhs, along with labels from various reputable companies and mixing machinery worth approximately Rs 15 lakhs. The operation was closely linked to Arjun Jain, who has since been apprehended by the Malleswaram police.

This swift and decisive action by law enforcement agencies not only halted the production and distribution of counterfeit detergent products but also sent a strong message to those engaged in such illegal activities.
