Sharat had injuries on his head and stomach

A rowdy sheeter named Sharat alias Cottonpet Shiva was brutally murdered on 9th March near Bakshi Garden. This comes across as a premeditated act. Shiva was chased across the region before being stabbed with a knife. He was also lethally attacked with other weapons. Shiva was left bleeding and fighting for his life. He had injuries on his head and stomach. 

The perpetrators of the attack picked him and brought him near his house. The perpetrators then fled the spot. Sharat died before reaching the hospital on account of severe bleeding. A case was registered in the Cottonpet Police Station and within a few hours, three of the accused were apprehended. The police are currently trying to uncover the  motive for the murder. 

Sharat was earlier lodged in jail in relation to the murder of an individual named Sakri. He performed menial labour to survive after coming out of jail. However there were reports that he was still troubling those in his surroundings. On the eve of Shivaratri, Sharat partied with his friends after finishing his work. He was attacked on his way back to his house.
