The incident resulted in the deaths of Madhumita (20) and her younger brother Ranjan (18), both residents of Doddanagamangala.

On the fateful morning, Madhumita, a student at SSMRV College, Bengaluru, was riding her bike to college with her brother Ranjan. It was the first day she had taken her younger brother to college. As they were traveling, a water tanker, allegedly speeding and driving carelessly, struck their bike. The collision caused the bike to fall, and tragically, the rear wheels of the tanker ran over the siblings, resulting in their immediate deaths.

The incident has sparked outrage among local residents, who are demanding stricter enforcement of traffic regulations to prevent such tragedies. The community mourns the loss of Madhumita and Ranjan, both remembered as bright and promising young individuals.
