Bengaluru: Veena artist Shubha Santosh to perform in Ayodhya on 22nd January

    She has been invited to perform in the instrument mela

    She will reportedly play the Veena to the song titled “Jayatu Kondada Rama Jayatu Dasharatha Rama ”

    She will use a 40-year-old Veena fabricated in Thanjavur to Ayodhya

Only a few people have got the invitation for the Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha. Kannadathi Shubha Santish is one among them. She has been invited to perform with her Veena in the instrument mela (fair) that will take place in Ayodhya. 

The mela will be held on the day of the Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha as a dedication to Lord Ram. Shubha is reportedly elated upon having received the invitation.

 Classic music and Hindustani music Artists from 22 states are set to perform on the occasion. Shubha is a disciple of Sri Vidhyesha Teertha Sripadaru. She has performed in more than 250 events. It is being reported that she will play the Veena to the song titled “Jayatu Kondada Rama Jayatu Dasharatha Rama ” (Hail the bow-and-arrow expert Rama, Hail Dasharatha’s son Rama) 

She will take a 40-year-old Veena fabricated in Thanjavur with her for this occasion. Upon having received the invitation Shubha thanked her mentors Sri Srinivasa Murthy Aachar, Sudhavyadharaj and H.L Sudeendra.
