Tanker mafia

While it is adversity for the people, the tanker mafia is using this as an opportunity to plunder more money. People were being forced to shell almost Rs 2000 per tanker, but all thanks to the intervention of the government, their nefarious ways have been braked to a great extent.

High rises greatly affected

Inmates of high rises in the city are most affected as water supply is hampered. They are forced to visit malls to answer nature’s call, order food online as they can’t cook in the absence of water.

Measures to preserve water

In order to ameliorate the water woes, people are taking several measures. Some of them include not to use showers and instead using buckets, mopping floors on alternate days among others.
