In all, it’s claimed that she had cheated husband of Rs 1.72 crore

Shruthi MK works as a CEO of Sarovara Credit Cooperative Society in Bengaluru. Today she stands accused of cheating people, including her husband to the tune of crores. She would promise inflated interest for people to invest in her bank and then do the unthinkable.

How she cheated her husband:

Shruthi married Mahesh in May 2022. Trusting her he deposited a sum of Rs 2 lakh, later he invested Rs 50 lakh. When he smelled something fishy, he demanded that Shruthi return his money. But on her part she threatened him that she would file a case of dowry harassment against him.

The pregnancy claim:

Shruthi had also lied to Mahesh that she was 8 weeks pregnant. Shocked at her claims, he didn’t know what to do. In fact, he even lodged a complaint against her at the Peenya Police Station, but she lodged a counter complaint. The police had sent them back home after counselling them. In all, it’s claimed that she had cheated Mahesh of Rs 1.72 crore.

 Shruthi as a pigmy collector:

Shruthi also used to collect money as a pigmy collector. She had employed Anand as an assistant. The entire fraud came to light as Anand understood her ploy. In a matter of just a few days, she rose to becoming unimaginably rich, with bungalows, cars and other properties worth more than Rs 20 crore in her name.
