The court is scheduled to hear the case between Wipro and Jatin Dalal on January 3, 2024. Dalal, who concluded a 20-year tenure at Wipro in various roles, resigned from the company and assumed the position of CFO at Cognizant on December 1, contributing to the recent series of high-profile departures from Wipro.

In response to the legal action, Jatin Dalal has requested the matter related to Wipro to be referred to arbitration.

On December 22, the company’s stock experienced a 7% surge following rumors of former L&T Infotech CEO Sanjay Jalona’s possible appointment. However, Wipro officially denied these reports over the weekend.
