Nurses of a hospital have been accused of stealing jewellery. The accusation has been made by a woman named Rajshwari. The incident has come to the forefront from the Shobha Hospital in the Moodalapalya region of Bengaluru.

Rajeshwari visited the hospital on February 8th.  She experienced pain in her chest and visited the hospital with her husband. She visited the hospital at 12:30 AM. An Electrocardiogram (E.C.G) was recommended by the doctor present for the night duty. She was taken for this procedure by a nurse named Akshatha.

Rajeshwari was asked to remove the jewellery for the procedure. Rajeshwari is said to have asked the nurse to call her husband to hand over her jewellery. The nurse is however reported to have told Rajeshwari that she can place her jewellery beneath the pillow as the procedure would not take much time. Rajeshwari supposedly forgot to collect her jewellery after the procedure. She remembered it the next day while taking a bath. She enquired about this in the hospital. The hospital is believed to have told her that they have no knowledge about this.

She has filed a complaint against nurse Akshata and another staff member named Premamma in the Govindaraj Nagar Police Station. Investigations are underway with regard to this case.
