A young woman who was locked up by her younger brother for 4 months at a house in Bengaluru has been rescued. The brother took this inhumane decision on the advice of an astrologer. He had tortured her and asked her not to scream. However, it came to light when the young woman sent SoSes on her mobile phone to her friends.

Her stomach had become swollen and she was suffering but she was yet not taken to the hospital. She would scream in pain but her cries fell to deaf ears. She would further get harassed and be asked to maintain silence. She requested help from certain acquaintances before the incident came to light. 

She was later rescued just at the right time to prevent tragedy from ensuing. Her brother was taken to task and hit with a broomstick for his conduct. It is being reported that the astrologer whose advice led to this dastardly turn of events has also been identified and he too would face the consequences of his actions.
