A mother of a 5-year-old child identified as Divya had desires to conceive a second child. However a blister in her womb acted as a hindrance. She visited a renowned hospital over this issue as per the advice of a doctor. The woman subsequently died in the hospital. “My sister did not have any issue. She was healthy while walking in. She however did not return,” her brother said. Serious allegations have been levied upon the Tulasi Jain Hospital in Yelahanka. 

Divya got married 7 years back. The doctors at the Tulasi Jain Hospital recommended an operation to treat the blister in her womb. All the tests including the ECG test conducted before the operation indicated the Divya was normal. However Divya bled from her nose as froth was visible from her mouth within minutes of entering the operation theatre. The family members of Divya have decided to take a legal route to pursue justice for her. A complaint has been filed in this regard.

The doctors associated with the Tulasi Jain Hospital have claimed that Divya suffered from hysteroscopy polypectomy. “She had come to the hospital on July 15th. Her B.P drastically reduced during the operation. She later had a cardiac arrest. She was immediately shifted to another hospital. However she died,” a doctor said.
