    A police case has been filed citing violations of various IPC Sections

On Ram Navami, an incident of a possible riot took place in Bengaluru. A few Hindu youths were returning home in a car after Ram Navami celebrations. As they were travelling, three individuals were seen waving a flag and chanting “Jai Shri Ram.”

It’s reported that a few miscreants stopped their car and urged them to chant slogans “Allauh Akbar”. Apart from this, it’s also reported that they also foulmouthed the inmates of the car.

This verbal altercation escalated as more individuals joined in, resulting in a total of five people attacking the occupants of the car.

As a retaliation, the Hindu inmates of the car questioned the attackers as to whether they would interfere in Islam related celebrations. The incident took place at Vidyaranyapura and a case has been lodged. The police have launched a manhunt for the attackers.

Speaking on the incident, Laxmiprasad, DCP Northeast said a police case has been filed citing violations of IPC Sections 295A, 298, 143, 147, 504, 324, 326, 149, and 506.

Law enforcement has initiated an investigation, and efforts are underway to locate and apprehend the perpetrators. The identities of the accused have been determined.

Following the incident, the three individuals in the car proceeded to Kodigehalli to purchase a motorcycle.
