Long queues, frustration and unclear communication mark another day of massive IndiGo cancellations at Kempegowda International Airport.
Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) witnessed another day of severe disruption as IndiGo cancelled 126 flights on Tuesday, leaving hundreds of passengers waiting for hours with little clarity about what was happening.
Airport data shows that 64 departing flights and 62 incoming flights were cancelled between early morning and midnight. Many passengers said they were informed of cancellations only at the last moment, while some claimed they received no advance updates at all.

Passengers alerted to avoid coming to airport
IndiGo staff reportedly sent messages advising passengers not to come to the airport, but many travellers said the communication came too late to be useful.

• 7:40 AM – Bengaluru to Bhubaneswar
• 7:45 AM – Bengaluru to Raipur

Passengers speak out: “We’re tired of waiting”
The cancellations triggered visible frustration at KIA’s Terminal 1.
Retired Wing Commander Santosh Kumar, who was scheduled to fly to Thiruvananthapuram, said he had been waiting since last night.
“My flight was cancelled yesterday itself… Nobody is telling me anything. I am tired of waiting,” he said.
“I don’t want a refund. I just want to go home. Even the washrooms here are difficult to use. The staff is not giving proper information.”

Several others echoed similar concerns, stating that airport staff were unable to provide accurate updates or alternative travel arrangements.
Travellers described the situation as confusing, with some saying they received only automated messages while others said they had no notification at all.
For many, the lack of clear communication was the biggest problem.
The situation at Bengaluru Airport remains tense, with passengers demanding clearer updates and quicker resolutions as IndiGo struggles to restore normal operations.
