7 killed in horrific early-morning serial road accident near Hoskote

A speeding tanker hit a bike, lost control, and rammed into an oncoming car near M. Satyavara in Bengaluru Rural, killing seven people on the spot.

A heart-wrenching road tragedy unfolded early Friday morning in Hoskote taluk of Bengaluru Rural district, where a horrific serial accident claimed seven lives on the spot. The crash involved a car, a speeding tanker, and a motorcycle near M. Satyavara, turning the highway into a scene of devastation.

According to eyewitness accounts and preliminary police investigations, the accident began when a fast-moving tanker rammed into a motorcycle. The force of the impact was so intense that the tanker’s chassis snapped. As the vehicle went out of control, it veered across the road and smashed head-on into an oncoming car.

The collision completely crushed the car, leaving no chance of survival for those inside. Six occupants of the car and the motorcyclist died instantly. The mangled vehicles and scattered bodies painted a grim picture, leaving passersby and rescuers deeply shaken.

Police confirmed that the car passengers were residents of Kolar and were travelling towards Devanahalli. The tragic incident occurred while they were passing through the Hoskote–Devanahalli stretch near M. Satyavara.

Upon receiving information, Hoskote police rushed to the spot and began rescue and recovery operations. The bodies were later shifted to the mortuary for post-mortem examination. Due to the crash, traffic movement on the busy route was severely affected for some time, leading to congestion and long delays.

A case has been registered at the Hoskote police station, and further investigation is underway to determine the exact cause of the accident. Authorities have once again urged motorists to follow speed limits and drive cautiously, especially during early morning hours.
