A 20-year-old BBA student, Sana Parveen, from Kodagu, allegedly ended her life in her PG accommodation in Bagalur, Bengaluru, after continuous harassment by a former senior student.
In a tragic case, a second-year BBA student, Sana Parveen, allegedly died by suicide at her PG accommodation in Bagalur. The 20-year-old hailed from Garagandur village in Kodagu district and was pursuing her degree at a private college in Bengaluru.

According to reports, Sana had been under severe distress due to persistent harassment by a former senior student named Rifas. Though he had already graduated, Rifas allegedly continued to visit the campus and trouble her, which reportedly pushed Sana to the brink.
Her parents have accused Rifas of mentally tormenting their daughter, holding him responsible for her death. “Our daughter had no other issues. The harassment from this student drove her to end her life,” they said in their statement to the police.

Sana was found hanging in her PG room late Monday evening. Her body was shifted for postmortem, and an FIR has been filed at the Bagalur Police Station. Investigations are underway to verify the allegations and trace the accused.
