Bengaluru leads Hurun India Under-35 List with 55 entrepreneurs, reinforcing its startup capital status

Bengaluru has once again solidified its position as India’s startup capital, with an impressive 55 entrepreneurs featured in the Avendus Wealth–Hurun India Under-35 List 2025. The list, which highlights young leaders under the age of 35, showcases the city’s thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem, far outpacing other major hubs in the country. Mumbai follows closely with 29 entrepreneurs, while Delhi ranks third with 22.

The city continues to nurture a dynamic business environment, with prominent figures such as Vikas Goya of Kuku FM, Misbah Ashraf of Jar, and Ritika Mohan of Garuda Aerospace making their mark in the prestigious list. Bengaluru’s reputation as a breeding ground for innovation is further highlighted by the 36 companies headquartered here, led by entrepreneurs under 35. This surpasses Mumbai, which is home to 25 such companies, and Delhi, with only 7.

Emerging startup hubs

Beyond the top three cities, other emerging startup hubs like Gurugram, Hyderabad, and Noida are also witnessing growth, contributing 9, 6, and 5 young entrepreneurs to the list, respectively.

Bengaluru’s dominance not only reflects its entrepreneurial spirit but also underscores the increasing importance of the city as a global startup ecosystem. The region continues to attract young innovators across industries, setting the stage for India’s next generation of business leaders.
