Bengaluru records sharp dip in temperature as winter chill sets in

Bengaluru experienced a clear drop in temperatures, with maximums and minimums falling across the city and airport zones. Cooler conditions were recorded at the city centre, Kempegowda International Airport, and HAL Airport, signalling an early winter-like chill.

Cooler mornings and evenings return as the city reports lower maximum and minimum temperatures across key weather stations.

Bengaluru witnessed a noticeable fall in both maximum and minimum temperatures, bringing back a stronger sense of winter-like conditions across the city. According to weather observations, several key locations recorded lower-than-usual temperatures, increasing the chill during early mornings and evenings.

In the central parts of the city, the day’s maximum temperature settled at 26.8°C, while the minimum dipped to 18.0°C, marking a clear easing from the typical warmer daytime conditions. The cooler trend extended to the outskirts and airport zones as well.

At Kempegowda International Airport (KIA), the maximum temperature was recorded at 27.7°C, with the minimum dropping sharply to 17.1°C, making it one of the coolest pockets in the region. Meanwhile, HAL Airport reported a maximum of 27.0°C and a minimum of 17.6°C, reflecting similar conditions.

The consistent drop across all three stations indicates a broader shift toward colder weather across Bengaluru. With daytime warmth reducing and nighttime temperatures falling steadily, residents are experiencing a more pronounced early winter feel compared to previous weeks.
