A 9th-grade student lost her life in a road accident after being allegedly kidnapped by a man who had been harassing her in the name of love. Three others, including a juvenile, have been arrested.
In a shocking incident near Bannerghatta, a 15-year-old schoolgirl studying in Class 9 at a government school lost her life after being kidnapped by a man who had been stalking her for months.

The accused, identified as Ajay alias Manoj, had been allegedly harassing the girl, following her to school and persistently pressuring her to be in a relationship. According to police reports, he frequently called the girl and tried to manipulate her emotionally in the name of love.
On October 24, Ajay allegedly forcibly took the minor girl along with his friends, Irfan and Mubarak, on two bikes via Hosur Road. While Ajay and the victim were riding on one bike, the others followed them on another. Tragically, near Hosakote, Ajay’s bike hit a road divider, killing the girl on the spot. Ajay and another rider reportedly survived with minor injuries.

That night, Hosakote Police contacted the girl’s parents, informing them that their daughter had died in an accident. However, after investigation, Bannerghatta Police uncovered that the girl had been kidnapped and possibly subjected to sexual exploitation, leading to a case under Sections related to kidnapping and the POCSO Act.
Police have now arrested Ajay alias Manoj, Irfan, and Mubarak, along with a juvenile accomplice. All four are currently in custody. Officials stated that Ajay had a history of troubling the girl and had been warned earlier by locals.
