KPTCL’s urgent work at the 66/11 kV Shobha City sub-station will interrupt electricity supply from 11 AM to 5 PM across several neighbourhoods.
Bengaluru residents in several northern pockets will have to brace for a scheduled power interruption on Tuesday, as the Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL) undertakes urgent maintenance work. According to BESCOM, the shutdown is required at the 66/11 kV Shobha City sub-station, where emergency repair and safety-related work has been taken up.
The electricity supply will remain disrupted from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, affecting domestic, commercial and institutional consumers across multiple neighbourhoods.

Areas Affected
The power cut will impact Shobha City, Chokkanahalli, Domino’s Pizza in Paradise Noor Nagar, Ex-Servicemen Layout, Police Quarters, RK Hegde Nagar, Shabari Nagar, Hosa Shanthi Nagar, Nagenahalli village, Esther Harmonic Layout, Balaji Layout and the surrounding localities.
In addition, power supply will be unavailable in and around Nagenahalli Gym, Slum Board, Bench Royal Wood, Arkavathy Layout Thanisandra, Belahalli village, Thirumenahalli village, Mittaganahalli, Kogilu village, Belahalli, Vidhana Soudha Layout, Karnataka College area and nearby zones.
Residents are advised to plan essential activities in advance and make necessary arrangements for the duration of the scheduled outage.
