BMTC launches two new non-AC services between KBS and Kannalli from November 17

BMTC has launched two new Non-AC routes, 238-UK and 238-VK, linking Kempegowda Bus Station and Kannalli from November 17, 2025. Each route will operate with one bus, covering key areas such as Vijayanagara, Nagarabhavi and Chikkakodigehalli.

The new services, effective from 17 November 2025, aim to improve connectivity along Magadi Road, Vijayanagara, Nagarabhavi and surrounding areas.

The Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) has expanded its city bus network with the introduction of two new Non-AC routes to strengthen connectivity for daily commuters. The new routes, 238-UK and 238-VK, will operate between Kempegowda Bus Station (KBS) and Kannalli, beginning 17 November 2025.

Each route will run with one dedicated bus, covering several busy residential and commercial stretches.

Route 238-UK

This service will run from KBS to Kannalli via Magadi Road 1st Cross, Vijayanagara, Mudalapalya, Nagarabhavi Circle, Muddaianapalya and Chikkakodigehalli.

Timings:

• From KBS: 9:25 am, 11:50 am, 2:35 pm
• From Kannalli: 7:55 am, 10:35 am, 1:00 pm, 3:45 pm

Route 238-VK

This route connects KBS and Kannalli via Sujatha Talkies, Vijayanagara, Chandra Layout, Nagarabhavi Circle, Muddaianapalya and Chikkakodigehalli.

Timings:

• From KBS: 10:50 am, 1:25 pm, 5:35 pm
• From Kannalli: 8:40 am, 12:10 pm, 3:00 pm
