More than 125 exhibitors and around 10,000 participants are anticipated, along with delegations from countries including the Netherlands, Turkey, Spain, Israel, and Sri Lanka. The Netherlands will participate as the partner country. The expo is being organised by HortiConnect Global Private Limited in association with the National Horticulture Board, the South India Floriculture Association, and the Indian Greenhouse Manufacturer Association, with support from the Government of Karnataka.

Showcase will highlight emerging technologies

The showcase will highlight emerging technologies such as hydroponics, vertical farming, robotics, artificial intelligence, and advanced irrigation systems. Alongside exhibitions, the programme will feature investor forums for startups, farmer workshops on best practices, innovation pavilions, buyer-seller meetings, and even a floral fashion event. Participants will also have opportunities to attend in-house conferences and farm visits.

The gathering comes as India’s horticulture sector is forecast to reach 362 million tonnes of production in 2025, while exports approach $1.8 billion. Sustainability will be a major theme, with focus areas including women in horticulture, biodegradable solutions, carbon credit opportunities, and climate-smart farming. Demonstrations of sensor-driven irrigation, smart greenhouses, and eco-friendly technologies will culminate with the HortiTech Innovation Awards recognising breakthrough ideas.
