26-year-old finance professional jumped from the fifth-floor terrace of Biocon Biologics Limited; police say no suicide note was found and the cause remains unclear.
A tragic incident was reported from Electronics City in Bengaluru, where a 26-year-old man died by suicide after jumping from the premises of Biocon Biologics Limited, police said on Tuesday, as per reports.
The deceased has been identified as S. Anantha Kumar, a resident of Banashankari. He was employed in the finance department of Biocon Biologics Limited. According to police officials, the incident occurred at around 5 pm.

Preliminary information suggests that Kumar was on a phone call shortly before the incident. After the call, he reportedly went to the cafeteria terrace located on the fifth floor of the building, from where he jumped.
Following the fall, Kumar sustained critical injuries. He was immediately shifted to a private hospital, where he was declared dead.
Police officials stated that no suicide note was recovered from the spot or his belongings, leaving the motive behind the extreme step unclear. Authorities have confirmed that the exact reason for the incident is yet to be ascertained.

A case has been registered, and further investigation is underway to determine the circumstances that led to the incident, police added.
