Birthday celebration ends in tragedy: 24-year-old youth killed in high-speed crash in Bengaluru

Returning home after celebrating his birthday with friends, a young biker died on the spot after a head-on collision with a goods vehicle in Soladevanahalli limits.

What was meant to be a joyful birthday celebration turned into a heartbreaking tragedy for a young man and his family in North Bengaluru. A 24-year-old youth lost his life in a brutal road accident on the very day of his birthday, sending shockwaves across the locality.

The deceased has been identified as Pawan (24), a resident of Guddadahalli in Bengaluru North taluk. On Tuesday evening, Pawan had celebrated his birthday with close friends. After the celebrations, he set off on his bike to return home. However, fate intervened cruelly on his way back.

The fatal accident occurred at Ivarakandapura, within the jurisdiction of the Soladevanahalli police station. According to preliminary investigations, Pawan’s two-wheeler collided head-on with an Ashok Leyland goods vehicle coming from the opposite direction. Both vehicles were reportedly moving at high speed at the time of the crash.

The force of the impact threw Pawan off his bike, causing severe injuries and heavy bleeding. He died instantly at the accident spot before any medical assistance could reach him.

The sudden loss has left Pawan’s family shattered. The grief of his parents, who lost their son on his birthday, has deeply moved residents of the area. Locals gathered at the spot as news of the tragedy spread, expressing shock and sorrow.

Soladevanahalli traffic police rushed to the scene, conducted a preliminary inspection, and registered a case. Further investigation is underway to determine the exact cause of the accident and to establish responsibility.
