BMTC introduces new metro feeder routes to improve connectivity around Jalahalli Cross

BMTC has launched two new non-AC metro feeder routes, MF-23C and MF-23D, from Jalahalli Cross to nearby neighbourhoods starting November 19. Each route will run 3 buses completing 24 trips daily, improving last-mile connectivity for commuters.

Two new feeder services, MF-23C and MF-23D, launched to offer faster, affordable and reliable last-mile travel for metro users from November 19.

Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) has introduced two new metro feeder routes to make last-mile travel easier for daily commuters in the Jalahalli-Bagalagunte corridor. The services began operating on 19 November 2025 and aim to provide affordable, dependable and comfortable transport for passengers connecting to the metro network.

Under this new arrangement, BMTC has added two circular feeder routes, MF-23C and MF-23D, both starting and ending at Jalahalli Cross. Each route is operated using three non-air-conditioned buses, completing 24 round trips per day, ensuring frequent availability during peak and non-peak hours.

Route MF-23C (Jalahalli Cross-Jalahalli Cross)

The MF-23C service moves through Gangamma Circle, MS Palya, Kasa Ghattapura, Chikkabanavara and Bagalagunte Cross, covering several residential pockets that lack direct metro-linked transport.

Departure timings from Jalahalli Cross include:

6:15, 6:45, 7:15, 7:50, 8:25, 9:30, 10:10, 10:50, 11:30, 12:05, 12:45, 13:30, 14:05, 14:35, 15:10, 15:45, 16:25, 17:10, 17:50, 18:20, 18:50, 19:25, 20:00.

Route MF-23D (Jalahalli Cross - Jalahalli Cross)

The MF-23D path operates in the reverse loop, covering Bagalagunte Cross, Chikkabanavara, Kasa Ghattapura, MS Palya and Gangamma Circle.

Departure timings from Jalahalli Cross are:

6:30, 7:00, 7:30, 8:05, 8:40, 9:10, 9:50, 10:30, 11:10, 11:45, 12:25, 13:05, 13:45, 14:20, 14:50, 15:25, 16:05, 16:50, 17:30, 18:05, 18:35, 19:05, 19:40, 20:15.
