BMRCL and BMTC jointly roll out feeder bus services from key Metro stations, urging commuters to use the new routes for smoother and more convenient travel.
Bengaluru Metro commuters have received another boost to daily travel convenience with the launch of Metro feeder bus services, aimed at improving last-mile connectivity. The new service has been introduced through coordinated efforts between the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) and the Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC).
BMRCL has appealed to passengers to make full use of the feeder buses, stating that the service is designed to ensure seamless movement between Metro stations and nearby residential and commercial areas. The initiative is expected to reduce dependence on private vehicles and ease traffic congestion.
As part of the rollout, feeder buses have been introduced on three major routes, covering different parts of the city with clearly defined stops and schedules.
