The annual Cubbon Park Flower Show has witnessed an extraordinary surge in footfall, drawing massive crowds over its opening weekend. Despite chilly mornings and intermittent rain, visitors flooded the venue to explore the special Children’s Day and Kannada Rajyotsava-themed floral installations.
Sunday turned out to be the biggest day so far, with 64,410 people stepping in, contributing to ticket sales worth ₹10.72 lakh. The crowd included 45,760 adults and 18,650 children, making it one of the most successful single-day turnouts in recent years.

The 11-day exhibition, which began on November 27, has already attracted more than 2.76 lakh visitors within the first three days. Attendance numbers remained consistently high across the weekend. On Friday, 66,550 people visited the show, followed by 64,760 on Saturday, and another 64,410 on Sunday, keeping Cubbon Park buzzing with activity throughout.
The show features a wide range of flower sculptures, thematic arrangements and cultural displays, drawing families, school groups and photography enthusiasts alike. Organisers attribute the strong response to the festive themes and the appeal of outdoor events during the season.

The exhibition will continue until December 7, giving visitors another week to enjoy the vibrant displays. With such a record-breaking start, the Cubbon Park Flower Show is expected to cross several more milestones before it wraps up.
