Bengaluru’s Horticulture Dept has set free parking on Sunday: entry 6 am–6 pm, free parking at 4 sites, safety tightened for record crowds
Bengaluru’s Horticulture Department has rolled out special arrangements to manage the heavy crowds expected at the Cubbon Park flower show on Sunday. Following a strong turnout on Saturday, officials anticipate record footfall over the weekend and upcoming holidays.
Entry to the flower show will be strictly regulated, with visitors allowed inside only between 6 am and 6 pm. Tickets can be purchased at all Cubbon Park entry gates, ensuring easy access for attendees.

To ease traffic congestion, the department has earmarked four major locations for free public parking. These include Kanteerava Stadium, St John’s, St Joseph’s College near the Mallya UB City area, and the designated parking zone next to the High Court. By offering these spaces at no cost, officials aim to encourage visitors to park away from the immediate vicinity of the park and reduce bottlenecks.
Authorities have also tightened safety measures, requesting the public to cooperate with traffic police and use the designated parking areas. Wardens and officers will be deployed to monitor movement and ensure a smooth, safe experience for all.
The flower show, a popular attraction in Bengaluru’s cultural calendar, is expected to draw thousands of visitors, making these measures crucial for crowd management and public safety.
