Police intensify investigation in the shocking Kruthika Reddy murder case after suspect Dr. Mahendra’s alleged affair comes to light, leading to seizure of both his phones and probing possible accomplice involvement.
The Kruthika Reddy murder case, which has gripped Bengaluru, has taken a new twist. Police suspect that accused Dr. Mahendra Reddy may have been involved in an extramarital affair, prompting investigators to seize both of his mobile phones. Preliminary findings suggest he might have been using another device to communicate with a woman allegedly linked to him.
Authorities are now probing whether Kruthika’s murder was premeditated with possible involvement of the third party, and if the plan was executed jointly. Both phones are set to be sent to the FSL for forensic examination, which could reveal crucial evidence.
The Marathahalli police have outlined a three-pronged investigation:
1. Examining the alleged extramarital relationship.
2. Investigating financial aspects linked to the case.
3. Tracing the source of anesthetic drugs used, including checking the accused’s six-month call records submitted to CDR.
Police warn that if evidence implicates the third party, she could also face arrest, keeping the case shrouded in suspense.
