The Kruthika Reddy murder case has taken a deeper turn with revelations about the criminal history of accused Dr. Mahendra Reddy and his family.
Police records reveal that Mahendra Reddy was previously accused in a 2018 case along with associates Nagendra Reddy and Raghav, registered under IPC Sections 506, 34, 417, 354, 420, and 323. The case involved a young woman who had married Nagendra Reddy in a temple, but the marriage was allegedly not registered later. According to reports, Mahendra and Raghav were accused of misusing the woman’s trust for physical relations and later abandoning her.

The victim had filed a complaint, and the case was reportedly settled in 2025 for a sum of ₹1 lakh, under the H.A.L jurisdiction. Shockingly, the same day as the settlement, the victim reportedly overdosed on IV drugs, leading to her death the following morning, on April 24, 2025, the same day Dr. Kruthika Reddy died.
This revelation adds suspense, suggesting a pattern of manipulation and abuse associated with the accused, intensifying scrutiny on Dr. Mahendra Reddy and his connections. Police continue to investigate whether similar elements played a role in Kruthika’s tragic death.
