Who was Dr. Kruthika Reddy?

29-year-old Dr. Kruthika Reddy hailed from Munekollal in Bengaluru, born to Muni Reddy and his wife. She had a younger sister, also a radiologist. Kruthika earned her MBBS degree from Vaidehi Medical College and later completed her MD in Dermatology from Navodaya Medical College, Raichur. She further pursued a Fellowship in Dermatology at Roots Institute, Kalyananagar, Bengaluru, establishing herself as a skin specialist even before her marriage.

Details of the Accused, Dr. Mahendra Reddy:

The accused, Dr. Mahendra Reddy, belongs to the Srinivas Reddy family in Gunjur, Bengaluru. The second among three siblings, he holds an MBBS degree in General Medicine and an MS in Gastro Surgery. His elder brother runs a medical shop.

Kruthika and Mahendra were married on May 6, 2024, at Mantra Kalyana Mantapa, Gunjur, and tragically, Dr. Kruthika passed away on April 24, 2025. Post her death, Mahendra has been serving as a Gastro Surgery Surgeon in Udupi, Manipal.
