Weather Department says dry conditions will continue across coastal, north, and south interior Karnataka, while Bengaluru remains cooler with mild temperatures.
Karnataka is witnessing dry weather conditions across most parts of the state, according to the Meteorological Department. The dry spell, which has been prevailing for several days, is expected to continue today as well.
In the south interior region, districts including Mysuru, Shivamogga, Chikkamagaluru, Hassan, Kodagu, Chamarajanagar, Kolar, Bengaluru Rural, Bengaluru Urban, Ballari, Tumakuru, Chikkaballapur, Ramanagara, Mandya, Chitradurga, Davanagere, and Vijayanagara will experience dry weather conditions.
The coastal belt is also set to remain dry. The department has confirmed that Udupi, Dakshina Kannada, and Uttara Kannada districts will not receive rainfall and will continue to see dry atmospheric conditions.

Similarly, north interior Karnataka has been under dry weather for the past several days, and this trend is expected to persist. Districts such as Belagavi, Bidar, Vijayapura, Bagalkote, Haveri, Gadag, Dharwad, Kalaburagi, Koppal, Ballari, Raichur, Yadgir, and Vijayanagara will continue to experience dry conditions.
While most of the state remains dry, Bengaluru stands out with relatively cooler weather. For today, the city’s minimum temperature is expected to be around 15°C, while the maximum may reach 27°C, offering some relief from heat despite the dry air.
The department has advised residents to stay prepared for continued dry conditions across Karnataka in the coming days.
