Counter-complaints, video evidence, and police bail mark a fresh turn in the alleged assault case involving television actor Kavya Gowda and her husband in Bengaluru.

A new development has emerged in the alleged assault case involving popular television actor Kavya Gowda and her husband Somashekar in Bengaluru. What initially appeared to be a straightforward assault complaint has now turned complex, with counter-complaints filed by both sides, prompting police to widen the scope of their investigation.

According to police sources, Kavya Gowda and a family member named Prema have lodged complaints against each other. Following this, officials from Ramamurthy Nagar Police Station have stepped up the investigation to understand the sequence of events and identify responsibility.

As part of the inquiry, police have already recorded statements from the accused named in the case, Prema, Nandeesh, Priya, and Ravikumar. After preliminary questioning, the police granted them station bail and issued notices directing them to appear again if required during the course of the investigation.
