After days of sharp ups and downs, gold prices have steadied across major cities, including Bengaluru, offering relief to buyers as wedding season demand picks up.

Gold prices have been witnessing significant fluctuations over the past several days, making it difficult for buyers to predict when rates will rise or fall. After climbing steadily since last week, prices have now entered a brief pause, bringing some stability to the bullion market.

This short break in the upward trend is being seen as a positive sign for those planning to buy gold, especially with the wedding season driving fresh demand. The slight cooling in prices has come as welcome news for consumers who were waiting for a better entry point.

On Sunday, gold prices remained unchanged across key southern cities.

In Bengaluru, the price of 24-carat gold stands at ₹1,34,180 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold is priced at ₹1,23,000 per 10 grams.

A similar trend is visible elsewhere. In Hyderabad, 24-carat gold continues at ₹1,34,180, and 22-carat gold remains at ₹1,23,000 per 10 grams.

Vijayawada has reported identical prices, with 24-carat gold at ₹1,34,180 and 22-carat gold at ₹1,23,000 per 10 grams.

In Visakhapatnam, gold prices are also unchanged at the same levels.

Chennai, however, is slightly higher compared to other cities. There, 24-carat gold is priced at ₹1,35,280 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold is selling at ₹1,24,000 per 10 grams.

Silver prices, meanwhile, have shown complete stability across regions. In Hyderabad, one kilogram of silver is priced at ₹2,26,000. The same rate has been reported in Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, Chennai, and Bengaluru, indicating no change in silver prices.

With gold rates stabilising after recent volatility and silver holding firm, market watchers believe this pause could offer a reasonable buying window for consumers, particularly those making purchases for weddings and festive needs.
