Once the loop becomes operational, vehicles arriving from KIA and North Bengaluru areas such as Yelahanka, Jakkur, and Sahakaranagar will enjoy a smoother and uninterrupted drive towards the city. Dedicated lanes have been planned for traffic from these regions to streamline movement and ease the long-standing congestion on the Hebbal flyover, one of the city’s most critical and congested junctions.

Officials said the new loop will significantly improve overall traffic flow, cutting down travel delays and reducing bottlenecks that often affect airport-bound and city-bound commuters alike. The BDA reaffirmed that the project is part of its continued efforts to enhance Bengaluru’s traffic infrastructure and improve last-mile connectivity for residents and frequent travellers.
With structural works nearing completion and finishing touches underway, the Hebbal loop is expected to bring much-needed relief to one of the busiest traffic points in the city.
