Muslim community, including women, takes to the streets in Bengaluru; Shantinagar MLA Harris participates, accuses the US of misusing its superpower status and abandoning humanitarian values.

Bengaluru witnessed a large and emotionally charged protest on Sunday as members of the Muslim community gathered to strongly condemn the killing of Khamenei. The demonstration, marked by powerful slogans and heartfelt appeals for justice, saw the participation of hundreds of protesters, including a significant number of women.

The protest was also joined by Shantinagar MLA Harris, who openly criticised the United States and Israel, accusing them of abandoning humanitarian values and misusing global power. Addressing the gathering, Harris said that the United States, despite being considered the world’s leading superpower, has forgotten the basic principles of humanity. He alleged that America is abusing its dominant position on the global stage and supporting actions that go against moral and ethical values.

Raising serious concerns about the current global power structure, Harris stated that the era of Western dominance is slowly coming to an end. He predicted that in the coming days, the balance of global power would shift towards Asian countries. He urged world leaders to remember that, regardless of political or ideological differences, humanity must always come first.

Protesters echoed similar sentiments, chanting slogans condemning the killing and accusing the US and Israel of lacking compassion. Many participants said that even in times of deep conflict and anger, humanity should never be forgotten. Several women protesters, who actively took part in the demonstration, expressed grief and anger, stating that such acts of violence cannot be ignored or accepted.

The crowd raised strong slogans, asserting their collective strength and warning that they would not remain silent. “Our strength is known to the entire world. We will not let this go unanswered,” protesters shouted, reflecting the intense emotions at the site.
