District Administration urges families of those stranded in conflict-hit nations to immediately contact the control rooms and disaster management helpline for support and coordination.
Amid the ongoing war in the Middle East and Gulf countries, which has resulted in heavy loss of life and widespread destruction, the Bengaluru Rural District Administration has launched a dedicated helpline to assist people from Karnataka who may be stranded in the affected regions.
According to official information, several residents from Karnataka are currently believed to be trapped in war-affected countries across the Middle East and the Gulf. In response, the Bengaluru Rural District Disaster Management Centre has activated a 24x7 control room to receive information, provide guidance, and coordinate necessary assistance.
Families and relatives of those stuck abroad have been urged to immediately contact the district disaster management helpline at 080-28388005 to share details and seek support. District Commissioner Dr. K.N. Anuradha has appealed to the public to make use of this service and provide accurate information to enable timely help.
