Flight schedules at Kempegowda International Airport have been altered following the Iran-Israel conflict, with cancellations, delays, and special passenger assistance measures now in place.
The ongoing conflict between Iran and Israel has caused major disruptions in air travel across several Middle Eastern regions, with a direct impact on international flight operations from Bengaluru. Kempegowda International Airport (KIA), located near Devanahalli, has reported significant changes in its flight schedules due to the evolving situation.
According to airport authorities, a total of 19 flights were affected on Sunday. This included 9 arriving flights and 10 departing services, all of which faced either delays or cancellations. Several international flights scheduled to operate between Bengaluru and Middle Eastern destinations were impacted, leading to confusion and inconvenience for travellers.

Officials stated that due to the uncertain security situation in the region, more flight cancellations and delays cannot be ruled out. As a precaution, passengers have been strongly advised to contact their respective airlines before arriving at the airport to confirm the latest flight status. Travellers have also been requested to plan their journeys only after checking real-time updates.
To assist affected passengers, the Bengaluru International Airport authorities have set up special help centres and helplines. Dedicated assistance desks have been established at Terminal 2 kerbside (Level 3) and near the Akasa ticketing counter at Terminal 1. These centres are providing real-time information, guidance, and support to ensure smoother passenger movement and reduce inconvenience.
Airport officials said they are working in close coordination with airlines and relevant government agencies to closely monitor the situation and manage operations efficiently. The primary focus remains on passenger safety, timely communication, and minimizing travel disruption.
With the situation in the Middle East still volatile, authorities have reiterated their appeal to passengers to stay informed, follow airline advisories, and arrive at the airport only after confirming flight schedules.
