Jayanagar MLA clarifies that “Good Morning” and “Good Evening” messages circulating on Instagram were not sent by him; reports hacking incident to cyber police.

A young woman recently received Instagram messages reading “Good Morning” and “Good Evening,” allegedly sent by C.K. Ramamurthy, the MLA from Jayanagar. However, the legislator has clarified that he did not send any messages.

According to Ramamurthy, his mobile phone and Instagram account were hacked, resulting in unauthorised messages being sent. He emphasised that the texts circulating online are not from him and are a result of cyber misuse.

The MLA has stated that he will soon approach the cyber crime police station to formally register a complaint and ensure the matter is investigated. He urged citizens to avoid assuming he was personally involved in sending the messages.
