A shocking incident has surfaced from a Bengaluru engineering college where a 5th-semester student allegedly raped a 7th-semester senior inside the campus washroom during lunch break. The accused has been arrested.
In a deeply disturbing incident, a case of sexual assault has been reported from a reputed engineering college in Bengaluru. A 5th-semester student named Jeevan has been arrested for allegedly raping a 7th-semester senior girl inside the college washroom.

According to police, the incident occurred on October 10 during the lunch break. The accused reportedly called the victim multiple times before meeting her near the downstairs block. Jeevan allegedly convinced the victim to accompany him to another block on the seventh floor, where he tried to kiss her by offering his jersey. When she resisted, he forcibly dragged her into the men’s washroom and sexually assaulted her.
The traumatized student later informed her parents, who immediately approached the Hanumanthanagar Police Station. Based on her complaint, a case was registered, and the accused was taken into custody.

Police are now recovering CCTV footage and gathering statements from the college administration and staff as well as the victim. They are investigating the case from multiple angles to establish the full sequence of events.
This incident has once again raised serious concerns about campus safety and student security across the city.
