Kathakali artists Kalāmandalam Aravind and Naveen brought Silicon City’s traffic chaos to life through an unforgettable dance act. Their performance, shared by author Nandita Iyer on social media, quickly went viral for its creative blend of tradition and modern satire.
The dance depicted Bengaluru’s notorious traffic scenes, sudden turns, erratic overtakes, rash bikers weaving through gaps, and frustrated drivers honking in despair. The highlight came at the end, where the artists portrayed a motorist leaving his car stranded mid-road and choosing to walk home, a dramatic but relatable nod to the everyday frustration of Bengalureans stuck for hours in jams.
