Hebbagodi police arrest a 23-year-old man after uncovering theft, misuse, and storage of women’s undergarments in Vidyanagar under Electronic City subdivision.

A disturbing case has come to light from Bengaluru’s Electronic City subdivision, where Hebbagodi police arrested a young man accused of stealing women’s undergarments and misusing it. The incident was reported from Vidyanagar, which falls under the Hebbagodi Police Station limits.

The accused has been identified as Amal, a 23-year-old native of Kerala. According to the investigation, the man was involved in stealing women’s inner garments from residential areas. Police action followed after receiving specific and reliable information about his activities.

During interrogation, it was revealed that the accused not only stole women’s undergarments but also wore them and took photographs. A detailed examination of his mobile phone led to the recovery of several such photos, which strengthened the case against him.

Further investigation and searches conducted by the police uncovered a collection of women’s innerwear stored at his residence. The recovery confirmed that the acts were not isolated incidents but part of repeated behaviour.

The Hebbagodi police team arrested the accused and questioned him thoroughly to understand the full extent of the offence. Based on the evidence gathered from the mobile phone and items recovered from his house, a formal case has been registered at the Hebbagodi Police Station.

Police have confirmed that the matter is under active investigation and necessary legal action is being taken in accordance with the law.
