Thousands gathered in Mahadevapura to catch a glimpse of actor Jr NTR during the inauguration of the new KIMS Super Speciality Hospital. The huge crowd led to chaos, damage to an escalator and police intervention.

Popular actor N. T. Rama Rao Jr., widely known as Jr NTR, drew an enormous crowd during his visit to Bengaluru, leading to chaotic scenes in Mahadevapura.

The actor had come to attend the inauguration of the new KIMS Super Speciality Hospital in the area. However, thousands of enthusiastic fans gathered at the venue hoping to see their favourite star in person.

As soon as the actor arrived, fans started pushing towards the entrance of the hospital building. Many of them rushed inside the premises in excitement to catch a closer look at the actor.

The sudden crowd surge resulted in a stampede-like situation, creating panic and heavy congestion inside the hospital building.
During the commotion, the escalator inside the hospital reportedly suffered damage due to the pressure of the crowd. The situation quickly turned chaotic as the large number of fans struggled to move within the limited space.

The excitement of the fans and the massive turnout made it difficult for authorities to maintain order at the venue.

Apart from those who entered the hospital premises, large numbers of fans also gathered along the roads in Mahadevapura to see Jr NTR.
People stood in long lines hoping to catch a glimpse of the actor as he arrived for the inauguration event.

Police personnel present at the venue made several attempts to control the swelling crowd. However, when the situation went out of control, they had to resort to a mild lathi charge to disperse the crowd and restore order.
