Bengaluru to see misty mornings Dec 1–6, with temps at 23–24°C by day and 18–19°C at night; calm, pleasant weather ahead
The city is set to embrace a cooler phase as the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasts misty mornings and a dip in temperatures through the first week of December. Residents have already felt the chill, with nighttime temperatures dropping to 16°C and daytime highs hovering around 22°C, accompanied by light drizzles on Sunday morning.
According to the IMD, Bengaluru’s maximum temperature is expected to stabilize between 23°C and 24°C from December 1 onwards, while nighttime readings will rise slightly to 18–19°C. The forecast indicates misty conditions every morning from December 1 to 6, creating calm and serene starts to the day.

Despite the persistent mist and high earlymorning humidity, officials have confirmed that no weather warnings have been issued. This suggests a stable and tranquil weather pattern, free from severe disturbances. The cooler climate is expected to provide residents with soft winter mornings, ideal for brisk walks and outdoor activities.
The shift marks a seasonal transition for Bengaluru, which often experiences mild winters compared to northern parts of India. The combination of mist, moderate daytime temperatures, and cooler nights is likely to continue throughout the week, offering a refreshing change for commuters and families alike.
With the city moving into December under a blanket of mist, Bengaluru residents can look forward to a week of comfortably cool weather, adding a touch of winter charm to daily routines.
