According to Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) officials, the disruption was caused by a technical fault in the signaling system, temporarily suspending train operations on the stretch. “Our technical team immediately attended to the issue, and normal services have now resumed,” officials said.

The unexpected halt led to heavy crowding at Vijayanagar Metro Station, as hundreds of passengers were forced to wait or exit the premises. Visuals from the station showed long queues, overcrowded platforms, and passengers struggling to find alternate transport.
