Karnataka Milk Federation has launched Nandini booths at three metro stations—Central College, Majestic, and Konanakunte—offering the full range of dairy products.

In a strategic move to strengthen its visibility in Bengaluru’s fast-growing transit hubs, the Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF) has opened Nandini booths at three Namma Metro stations—Central College, Majestic, and Konanakunte.

The stalls will stock the complete line of Nandini products, including milk, curd, sweets, ice creams, and other dairy essentials, making them easily accessible to thousands of daily commuters. The inauguration was led by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, underscoring the government’s push to promote local brands.

This development comes shortly after Amul, Gujarat’s dairy giant, set up outlets at 10 metro stations across the city, sparking outrage from farmer groups and local stakeholders who argued that Karnataka’s homegrown dairy brand was being sidelined.

By introducing Nandini counters in metro premises, the state appears to have directly addressed those concerns, ensuring the brand’s presence in high-footfall zones while reaffirming its stronghold in Bengaluru’s dairy market.
