GBA to roll out parking fees on more city roads with hourly, daily, and monthly passes to manage congestion and improve traffic flow
Bengaluru is set to expand its paid parking system to more roads across the city, covering major commercial, residential, and high-traffic zones. The city corporations have identified multiple new streets where parking fees will soon be collected to regulate traffic, reduce congestion, and improve road discipline.
As per the new plan, parking charges have been fixed at ₹30 per hour for four-wheelers and ₹15 per hour for two-wheelers. For regular users, daily passes will cost ₹150 for cars and ₹75 for two-wheelers, while monthly passes are priced at ₹3,000 and ₹1,500 respectively.
Key Areas Where Parking Fees Will Be Introduced
Central Business District (CBD) & Central Division:
Parking fees will be collected on major roads including Commercial Street (Kamaraj Road) to OPH Road, Main Guard Road from Safina Plaza to Dispensary Road, Dickenson Road, OPH Road to Kamaraj Road, Ibrahim Sahib Street, Millers Road Junction, Planetarium Road, St. John’s Church Road, St. John’s Road, 2nd Temple Road in Dattatreya Temple Ward, Sampige Road, Railway Parallel Road, and BVK Iyengar Road.

Hebbal Division:
Tank Bund Road, Taralabalu Road, and Bhoopasandra Main Road will come under paid parking.
Yelahanka New Town (Ward No. 05):
Parking fees will apply on 1st A and 13th A Main Roads, 3rd A, 3rd B, 16th B, and 15th A Cross Roads, along with Sandeep Unnikrishna Road.
West Zone - Malleswaram:
New paid parking streets include 4th Main Road, 8th Cross Road, 18th Cross Road, 15th Cross Road, 2nd Main Road, 11th Cross Road, and Sampige Road.
Central Zone - Indiranagar:
Parking fees will be charged on Magrath Road, Church Street, Museum Road, Cambridge Road, Wood Street, Castle Street, and 100 Feet Road.
