The incident occurred early on January 26, Republic Day, in the Teachers’ Colony area of HSR Layout. At around 6:54 am, the woman had stepped out for her regular morning walk near her residence when she was suddenly attacked by a pet dog owned by a local resident, identified as Amaresh Reddy.

According to details, the dog unexpectedly charged at the woman without any provocation. The animal targeted critical parts of her body, including her neck, face, hands, and legs. The attack was intense and violent, causing the woman to collapse in a pool of blood.
