NewsFirst had earlier exposed irregularities and corruption within RERA. Following this, the opposition leaders R. Yet, Minister Zameer Ahmed Khan’s refusal to respond has only raised more questions.

Now, NewsFirst puts forward eight direct questions to the minister, demanding accountability on behalf of Karnataka’s citizens:
1. Have the large-scale irregularities in RERA under your department not come to your notice?
2. Why are over 3,000 citizen complaints still pending without resolution?
3. Despite clear orders, why has RERA failed to recover ₹750 crore from builders for homebuyers?
4. Who has allegedly “fixed commissions” within the system, from officials to ministers?
5. Are you aware that collections are reportedly being made in your name?
6. Is RERA, as opposition alleges, functioning like a ‘collection center’?
7. With accusations piling up, why have you chosen to remain silent?
8. Are you ready to order a full-fledged investigation into the allegations?
